Privacy Policy

BoxPhone PRO (“the app”, “we”) is a dialer for iPhone. It is private by design: there are no user accounts, no servers of ours, no ads and no tracking. This policy explains what the app accesses and how.

Data we collect

None on our servers. We do not operate servers that store your data, we have no accounts, and we use no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

Contacts & microphone

Contacts are used only to display and dial your people and to resolve your favorites; they stay on your device. The microphone is used only by the DTMF Decoder to detect tones in real time — audio is analyzed on-device and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

Calls

Calls are placed through Apple's built-in Phone app via standard tel: links (with your chosen prefix, pause and suffix). The app cannot access, listen to or record phone calls, and does not read your call history.

Call blocking & identification

You build the block list, and only you. The Call Directory extension blocks or labels exactly the numbers and patterns you enter in the app. No spam, fraud or nuisance list ships with BoxPhone PRO, none is ever downloaded, and no third-party, crowdsourced or community database is consulted — this feature makes no network connection at all. No number is added automatically, neither from your call history nor from your contacts. Your rules stay on your iPhone in a private app group container shared only with the blocking extension, and iOS never reports to the app which calls were blocked.

Widgets

To power the fast-call widgets, the app stores a small local snapshot of your favorites (name and the number you chose) in a private app group container on your device. It never leaves the device.

Children

BoxPhone PRO is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because your data lives on your device, you remain in control. You can remove all app data by deleting the app. As we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to export or erase.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
